The 2016 Advancing Justice Conference (AJC) is the first and only national conference in the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community focusing on civil rights and social justice. Over 700 AAPIs from across the U.S. will come together to address issues facing our fastest growing populations. The theme will focus on civic engagement and building our electoral and social power in support of economic and racial justice. Conference attendees will participate in two days of panel discussions, caucus sessions, skills and capacity building, trainings, and networking receptions.

Noelle Ito is Vice President of Programs at Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy, a national membership and philanthropic advocacy organization dedicated to advancing philanthropy and Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. In her role, Ito coordinates and connects AAPIP’s incubation, research and community philanthropy program areas to increase program impact. Previously, Ito served as Senior Director of Community Philanthropy, leading AAPIP’s National Giving Circle campaign. She has extensive experience in development, having worked for several nonprofits from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles. Prior to joining AAPIP, Ito worked as Director of Donor Relations at BronxWorks in New York City and as Director of Development at Little Tokyo Service Center in Los Angeles.
