The 2016 Advancing Justice Conference (AJC) is the first and only national conference in the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community focusing on civil rights and social justice. Over 700 AAPIs from across the U.S. will come together to address issues facing our fastest growing populations. The theme will focus on civic engagement and building our electoral and social power in support of economic and racial justice. Conference attendees will participate in two days of panel discussions, caucus sessions, skills and capacity building, trainings, and networking receptions.

Messaging and Tactics from the Front Lines – The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

We will share very concrete examples of messages and tactics from our recent civic engagement work. From volunteer recruitment/cultivation, to phonebanking/canvassing and tactics around Early Voting and GOTV – we will share the good, the bad and the ugly so that others can learn from both our greatest moments and epic fails. Our workshop will provide some baseline insights on what we are doing and a hands-on component where you can connect with others doing this work.
