Innovations in Immigrant Rights: Winning Pro-Immigrant State and Local Policies **

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Pro-immigrant policy at the federal level has stalled, and deportations, raids, and anti-immigrant rhetoric have created a hostile national landscape. In the midst of this harsh environment, some states and localities have embraced pro-immigrant policies that serve as a national model for welcoming immigrants and advancing proactive change. This panel showcases some of these innovative policies and uplifts possibilities for replication in other states and localities.

** Advancing Justice - LA is a State Bar of California approved Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) provider. Pre-determined MCLE credits are being provided for this activity. Please note that 1.5 hours of MCLE credits are approved for California State Bar members only.
