The 2016 Advancing Justice Conference (AJC) is the first and only national conference in the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community focusing on civil rights and social justice. Over 700 AAPIs from across the U.S. will come together to address issues facing our fastest growing populations. The theme will focus on civic engagement and building our electoral and social power in support of economic and racial justice. Conference attendees will participate in two days of panel discussions, caucus sessions, skills and capacity building, trainings, and networking receptions.

What does it take to engage our communities in voting? Come join APIAVote and Crossroads Campaigns in an interactive workshop where you can choose to learn how to get started and best practices in get-out-the-vote (GOTV) strategies or how to implement an effective voter registration drive. You will leave equipped with a better understanding on what steps go into making a voter registration or get out the vote campaign, along with common pitfalls and how to avoid them.

*** This training workshop will conclude at 6:30pm.
